Our church, a long standing fixture in the Mount Maunganui Christian Community has a clear purpose: to know Jesus and make Jesus known.

We’re a welcoming, vibrant, multi-generational Holy Spirit-led church, and we’d love to see you this Sunday!

What We Believe: The Apostles Creed

We believe in God, the Father almighty,
      creator of heaven and earth.

We believe in Jesus Christ, his only Son, our Lord,
who was conceived by the Holy Spirit
and born of the virgin Mary.
      He suffered under Pontius Pilate,
      was crucified, died, and was buried;
      He descended to hell.
The third day he rose again from the dead.
      He ascended to heaven
and is seated at the right hand of God the Father almighty.
From there He will come to judge the living and the dead.

We believe in the Holy Spirit,
      the holy catholic Church,
      the communion of saints,
      the forgiveness of sins,
      the resurrection of the body,
      and the life everlasting. Amen.

Rev. Douglas Bradley

Kia ora. Thank you for taking the time to check out our website. My name is Douglas Bradley and I’m the Minister at St Andrews. Before entering the ministry I was a quality control chemist for a pharmaceutical factory and then a secondary school teacher. After training for the ministry I pastored a church in Auckland and then Cromwell. I’m married to Judy and have four adult children, a grandson and a brittany spaniel cross - all of who are great fun! It’s a privilege to minister here at St Andrews where we love to “know Jesus and make Jesus known”. You are always welcome to visit, check us out and see how we follow Jesus and honour our Heavenly Father.

Who We Are

At St Andrews, we are a community of people gathered around the object of our love—Jesus Christ. He is at the centre of everything we do, shaping our worship, our relationships, and our purpose.

We hold the Bible in high regard as God’s living Word, guiding us in truth and helping us grow in faith and understanding. Together, we seek to follow Jesus faithfully in our everyday lives.

We love to worship God together, celebrating His goodness with heart felt joy. Fellowship is also at the core of who we are—we value genuine relationships, encouraging one another and sharing life together.

Throughout the week, our community stays connected through small groups, where we grow in faith, pray, and support one another. We’re passionate about nurturing all ages, with programs like Mainly Music for preschoolers and a vibrant youth ministry helping young people find their place and purpose.

We are also committed to serving beyond our walls—building meaningful connections and making a positive difference in our local community.

At St Andrews, you’ll find a welcoming place to belong, grow, and discover more of God’s love.
