Purpose: The purpose for the Reasons Why? Book Club is to help Christians explore WHAT they believe and WHY they believe it, so they can engage culture and present the Christian faith gracefully and persuasively.

How: We will fulfill this purpose by reading a different book each month on the topic of apologetics, worldview, culture, evangelism, or theology.

Benefits: Finding the motivation to read books can sometimes be challenging. The Reasons Why? Book Club will help provide motivation to engage with excellent apologetics books. Further, one of the most fulfilling aspects of reading an apologetic book is discussing the ideas contained therein with others. What did you agree with, what did you not? What was confusing? What was enlightening? What ideas do you think would resonate here in NZ?

When: First Sunday of each month, in the St. Andrew’s Presbyterian Church Cafe, 7-9pm, 3 Macville Rd.

First Date: July 7th 2019.
First Book: Cold-Case Christianity: A Homicide Detective Investigates the Claims of the Gospels (you will gain the most benefit if you read the book before coming 🙂)
