Badmaa has worked as an evangelist with Asian Outreach for a number of years. He has established a number of churches in countryside towns and trained their pastors. Badmaa is involved in running 6 – 10 GCI (Great Commission Institute) each year. 30–50 countryside pastors and church workers attend each GCI where they receive biblical and ministry training. At the end of 2004 Badmaa was appointed director of Asian Outreach Mongolia. As well as his evangelistic work and training of pastors he oversees an office and staff of 10 people. A large part of work at AO Mongolia is giving practical aid to the poor and needy – literacy projects for children, establishing small businesses for churches and providing animals for herders, seeds and plants for gardeners etc.
