Our heart and passion is to care for the people of our beautiful town and to see them walking in newness of life as followers of Jesus Christ.
Our wider vision is global. God calls us to serve him beyond our ‘home’.
Our Church consists of two congregations, reflecting a traditional style of worship (9:00am) followed by a more family and contemporary style service (10:30am). During the summer time we have a combined service at 9:30am.
The Coastal Strip of the Mount and Papamoa is one of the fastest growing regions in New Zealand. We have to have a big vision. This region of New Zealand is expected to grow from 30,000 now to about 90,000 in just over 40 years. A geographical feature of our strip is that it is about 26 km long, but only about 2 km wide.
Mount Maunganui is one of New Zealand’s leading holiday spots. People come here for rest and refreshment – spiritual as well as physical. Our Church is a place of renewal and restoration.
