Our vision is to work with God to see His Kingdom growing.
Our heart and passion is to care for the people of the Coastal Strip of Mount Maunganui and Papamoa and to see them following Jesus Christ.
But our mission is global. God calls us to serve him beyond our ‘home’.
Our church consists of three different congregations reflecting a range of worship styles, thus assisting the people of our community to express meaningful worship of God.
The Coastal Strip of the Mount and Papamoa is one of the fastest growing regions in New Zealand. We have to have a big vision. This region of New Zealand is expected to grow from 30,000 now to about 90,000 in just over 40 years. A geographical feature of our strip is that it is about 26 km long, but only about 2 km wide.
Mount Maunganui is one of New Zealand’s leading holiday spots. People come here for rest and refreshment – spiritual as well as physical. Our church is a place of renewal and restoration.
We hope that by becoming part of one of our congregations – whether as a local resident or a visitor – you will find the love of God, and experience his goodness and grace, his forgiveness and freedom, his hope and health. Welcome. Welcome from all at St Andrews.
